Bamboo Shoot BBQ Relish (Indian fusion)
Also known as the Silk Road Dreaming, we blend our hand-harvested bamboo shoots with other local ingredients to create this sweet, sour & spicy chutney.
She matches perfectly with soft cheeses, with cold meats on cheeseboards & grazing platters, can be used as a baster or marinade and is the perfect gourmet condiment on any burger, wrap or even as a pizza sauce base (just mix with cream cheese).
This chutney is Zen like in nature, flavours of ancient herbs and spices (fenugreek, roasted mustard seeds, rosemary, turmeric and smoked pepper just to name a few) bring a unique warming and grounding feeling that is perfect for days when you just need a bit of comfort and nurturing. She also pairs amazingly well with any comfort food dishes- pies, pasta bakes, old style bangers & mash.
Ingredients- Bamboo shoots, Apple cider vinegar, filtered water, sugar, onion, ginger, honey, turmeric, red chilli, green chilli, salt, mustard seed, rosemary, fenugreek, black pepper, cinnamon.
